PORCELANOSA Group Projects: Poseidon, a duplex on the beach in Marbella

Its south-west orientation and minimalist design with white as the main colour make this residence a natural refuge, where PORCELANOSA Group’s Premium collections take centre stage.

Just a few metres from Marbella’s seafront promenade and with 140 metres of terraces, the Poseidon duplex belonging to the property developer Soinfa Royal Estate has included the Premium collections from PORCELANOSA Group to make it one of the most emblematic places on the Costa del Sol.

A modern ‘total white’ residential complex

Exterior-facing and with white as the main colour, this property promotes energy efficiency in each of its rooms with a diaphanous design through which natural light comes in from the outside.

A sustainable architectural structure in which interior and exterior come together through simple combinations inspired by marble and wood. This is the case for the compact sintered mineral XTONE that paves the terrace and adorns the bathrooms with the Lush White and Kala White marble series.

LUSH WHITE

It reproduces the purity of the whitest marble with a subtle and uniform veining of great chromatic richness in beige, brown and grey tones.

KALA WHITE

It pays homage to timeless and luminous white marble with distinctive veining in grey shades on a fine-venule flame base.

In the guest bathroom, the Rivoli collection has been chosen * collection by Venis to contrast the Lounge taps finished in black from Nokenand the wall-hung toilet Arquitect, also from the firm. In the bathrooms adjacent to the main bedrooms, the Carrara Blanco Pulido collection from Porcelanosa was selected for the floors and walls. Its texture reproduces the veins and the brilliance of Carrara marble and perfectly matches the Tile mirror from Noken and the black Neptune Slim Rondo rain shower head.

The washbasins and bathroom fittings are from the Krion firm. Highlights include the Arch bathtub in Krion® and theon top washbasins from the ARO collection. This series, nominated for the EDIDA Elle Decor Awards in 2015, was inspired by the Japanese tea ceremony. These refined pieces are resistant to impacts and chemical agents, and their lack of joints and pores prevents the proliferation of fungi and bacteria.

The infinite continuity present in all rooms also extends to the kitchen. Open to the living room and with the Emotions 4.70 Blanco Emotions Mate unit from Gamadecor in the centre of the room, its worktop (made from the compact mineral Krion®) serves as a table and work area and is framed by the minimalist Urban Stick taps from Noken.
