New collections from PORCELANOSA on show at Cersaie 2021

The ceramics multinational is focusing on natural, considered design, with ranges and room schemes made for larger residential and contract projects featuring marble, wood and hand-crafted textiles.

Porcelanosa is back at Cersaie 2021 (from 27 September to 1 October) showing its brands’ main new innovations and what it’s been working on over the past two years. Over this period, technological innovations and research have led the multinational to perfect its designs with more realistic textures.

The firm’s three stands will revolve around the themes of large format ceramic tiles, natural finishes, and industrialised construction solutions at the Bologna fair. The main stand (A296 B198) will give professional and interior design enthusiasts the chance to see the ceramic group’s latest collections and explore this season’s trends.

400 square metres of innovative, versatile design

The space features a Krion® Lux façade and reception desk built in new Stratos technical porcelain (Solidker) framing the video wall. This leads on to the 12 rooms (11 bathrooms and a kitchen-living room), a 400-square metre space combining natural collections by L’Antic Colonial with Noken fixtures and fittings and sofas by Gamadecor. This is a multidisciplinary area, where design zones are blended seamlessly with product displays. This is demonstrated to perfection in the KRION® zone, a structure made in sustainable Fitwall® decorative panels. These vertical pieces with a mineral-based composition reproduce the texture of cement, textiles, clay or wood, and can be used to clad walls or furnishings. Noken, meanwhile, will present its Finish Studio concept with washbasins, baths, shower trays and taps. Neutral and metallic colours run through these exclusive finishes, for a perfectly-personalised bathroom.

Porcelanosa’s floor and wall tiles will also play a key role. Above all in the dining-living room, where its new terrazzo-inspired collection Treviso highlights the versatility and breadth of the Gamadecor kitchen. Another standout collection is Vetri, with a finish echoing volcanic stone that gives spaces a brighter feel, available in various shades (Blu, Cava, Blanco, Green and Moka). In terms of ceramic wood, the firm has gone for its marquetry finish floor tiles – Harwood – featuring geometric graphics.

Infinite spaces with XTONE®

A whole stand (A288 B293) will be dedicated to the XTONE® sintered mineral compact by Urbatek, built in its marble-inspired collections. With a structure reminiscent of an ancient Greek dome, the interior will feature a striking blend of large format white marble-look tiles interspersed with others evoking the sheen of black Marquina marble. Emerald Green, Marquina Black and Invisible White are just some of the collections used to reach the heights of high-end design: infinite surfaces and monolithic furnishings with flecks of gold that differentiate the reception and café areas from the meeting room. A 200 m2 exhibition area where classic elements blend seamlessly with industrial aesthetics, transporting the majesty of this ancient stone into the present.

Butech’s industrialised construction solutions

PORCELANOSA brand Butech will also be at the Bologna fair, with a corporate space (B182) dedicated to technical solutions and industrialised construction. Spanning 50 m2, with a number of specialist zones, the stand will have its Thic’ker range on show – a thicker format ceramic tile measuring 100 cm x 100 cm x 20 mm, as well as a cantilevered staircase made with Porcelanosa’s Bottega Caliza, and the latest in modular construction with its Monobath prefabricated bathroom on display on a revolving platform. There will also be further spaces dedicated to the brand’s Pool-Deck swimming pool drainage systems and customised Pro-Skirting skirting board solutions.
