Hudson 36 tower, soaring into the Manhattan sky with Porcelanosa

This 39-floor, 250-apartment residential complex features a cutting-edge façade, made to measure with materials from the ceramics company for studio Ismael Leyva Architects.

Manhattan is one of New York’s most prominent districts, located at the mouth of the Hudson River and packed with iconic buildings and spaces including the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, Apollo Theatre, MoMA and the famous Central Park.

An architectural context that frames the infinite Hudson 36 residential tower. Located on 36th Street (Midtown Manhattan), the 39-floor skyscraper houses 250 apartments plus commercial premises, soaring into the Manhattan sky with its impressive translucent façade, a bespoke construction featuring PORCELANOSA Group porcelain materials.

An infinite glass façade

Created by studio Ismael Leyva Architects and the Porcelanosa Facades USA technical department, the eye-catching glazed façade stands out for its rational, geometric structure. The various levels combine Porcelanosa’s Ark Bright large format porcelain with float glass, the material that forms the backbone of the building, used as a base to install the Butech ventilated façade with a visible fixing clip system.

An ambitious, cutting-edge design in which the resistance and high technical performance of Ark Bright enhance the stunning symmetrical tower.
