The office building's lobby features the PORCELANOSA Group mineral compact on the ceilings and walls, creating a healthy space with artistic flair.
Each one of the premises in The Boro office complex in Tysons, Virginia (USA) combines comfort, art and functionality. These principles run through the main lobby, where the minimal style takes on a new dimension with the Krion® Lux mineral compact.
Designed by studio Gensler DC, this area stands out for its brightness and modern décor. These values are further enhanced by the white Krion® 1100 Snow White wall cladding (230 square metres), which - thanks to its resistance, hygiene and easy cleaning - not only improves the look of the lobby but makes for a safer space for employees too.
Thanks to its sterile and thermocurving properties, and durability, the composite has also been used to shape the reception at the entrance, unifying the building's aesthetic with white as the central theme.
To ensure each tile was installed and fixed properly, Gensler's team and the technicians at Porcelanosa USA opted for the K-Fix anchoring system by Butech, with an innovative composition that enhances the building's architecture and strengthens its overall structure.
