In Denver, the capital of Colorado, USA, there is contemporary housing capable of transmitting both warmth and total comfort. With the flawless and successful use of a variety of materials and products from the PORCELANOSA Group, the Waring Associates design studio has created spaces of great amplitude and exceptionality, capable of serving the guest as the perfect place to stay.
By combining quality and avant-garde design together and blending materials in a courageous and subtle way, the professionals Lindsay Martínez, Cory Davidson, Jason Pletcher and associates, have been able to conceive housing that is not only elegant and beautiful but cosy and practical as well. They banked on warmth and authenticity regarding natural materials for some of the hotspots regarding the housing, thus, their interior design is set up by focusing on the dominance of the ceramic materials, which are highly resistant to wear and tear, as well as having little-maintenance properties.
In fact, for the general flooring of the flat, the professionals have opted for the installation of ceramic parquet by Porcelanosa, which is inspired by the purest natural wood. To be precise, the PAR-KER Amsterdam Gris model has been the choice, which covers an area of approximately 200m2 including the corridors. Its uniqueness lies in the installation system, where aligned wooden strips in a herringbone pattern have been laid according to the different areas of the house.
Since we are dealing with an area which turns out to be more demanding than the rest, for the gym the professionals opted for the Linkfloor Contract Graphite vinyl flooring by L’Antic Colonial, which completely covers the needs of this exclusive leisure space. With regard to the bathrooms, however, the Max Grey Lappato full-body porcelain tile by Urbatek was the choice because of its excellent design, low-porosity properties, and because of its resistance to both water and humidity.
As far as the wall tiles are concerned, it is worth highlighting the sophisticated contrast among the light walls, the stone walls and the outstanding wooden ceiling. In order to achieve that light-dark effect, the Brunei Blanco and Ródano Caliza porcelain were the choice, both of them by Porcelanosa. However, and with regard to the bathrooms, the hotspots were highlighted with textured ceramic wall tiles enhancing the uniqueness of the atmosphere and providing it with major cosiness. We can find some examples in the Jersey Antracita ceramic wall tile by Porcelanosa and the Lake Stone Negro mosaic by L’Antic Colonial, which was built in the shower space.
One of the other firms which are present in this project, is Noken, which is in charge of providing the project with its innovative bathroom equipment. Some of its cutting-edge products were selected, for instance, the NK Logic thermostatic taps, the basin taps and shower heads from the Lounge collection, and the Architect sanitaryware. On the other hand, Gamadecor and L’Antic Colonial provided their unique bathroom furniture designs, by means of the Folk series in 80cm, and the basin manufactured with the KRION® Solid Surface mineral compact and the set of basin, furniture and mirror Spirit II, respectively.
All in all, a housing project where design goes hand in hand with originality, without compromising either comfort or habitability.
