PORCELANOSA Group has taken part in the 24th edition of the Biennale Interieur Fair, 2014, which took place in Kortrijk –Belgium- from October 17th to 26th. This international fair is one of the most traditional events in mid Europe which has been bringing the main design, product development and innovation industry firms together since 1968.
Among all the designs shown in this fair, PORCELANOSA Group firms cashed in on the opportunity to present to the Belgian audience their latest news about floor tiles and wall tiles, as well as some of their most characteristic designs of the bathroom collection.
So, Porcelanosa took with them the Antique, Barcelona and Dover Antique water-like floor tiles and ceramic wall tiles to the exhibition in Kortrijk, whereas Venis presented their ceramic collection with Newport embossed patterns, and the Estocolmo series merging the combination of cement and wood. Likewise, Urbatek introduced the Concrete XLight collection, an extra large extra slim porcelain tile , which is inspired by the aesthetic strength of the concrete.
There was also enough room to present the new L’Antic Colonial mosaics together with the Wood Square Antique and Wood Feel natural wooden samples as well as the Fushion collection mosaics -Fushion 3D Steel Mix y Fushion 3D White-.
As far as bathroom equipment is concerned, the people attending the Biennale Interieur 2014 were able to see and analyse the washbasins made of Krion® Modul and Almond by Systempool as well as the Mood collection washbasins, designed by Roger Stirk Harbour and Luis Vidal for Noken.
This time, more than 270 design firms have taken part in the 24th edition of the Biennale Interieur Fair, 2014. The staging of the aforementioned event is based on the Ancient Greek agoras. The main Street, where the fair was located hosted the ‘SQM: Theatre of Everyday Life’ exhibition, by Joseph Grima. In each of the six halls of the exhibition, there were outdoor dynamic landscapes, set up together with bars and all kinds of different facilities.
