PORCELANOSA Group was awarded with the Medal for Merit in Trade which is given by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness each year. This award acknowledges the company’s continuous expansions throughout the planet, since its start in 1973, and today is a national and international reference.

The award ceremony was held on the 29th November when the president of PORCELANOSA Group, Héctor Colonques, collected the prize at the Ministry’s headquarters in Madrid by the State Secretary of Trade, Jaime García Legaz. The Director General of Domestic Trade, Carmen Cárdeno and the Director General of Trade and Investments, Antonio Fernández-Martos also attended.
This distinction is just another guarantee of the company’s quality and prestige, as the Medal for Merit in Trade aims to distinguish companies, institutions, organisms and people who stand out and continuously support the Spanish commercial administration, favouring the trade sector in general.
