PORCELANOSA Group Projects: the home of designer Sally Homan

The fact that a professional as highly regarded as Sally Homan chose materials from companies in PORCELANOSA Group for the interior design of her own home not only reveals the importance the British designer, Design Director of Robertson Lindsay Interiors, places on quality, but makes us very proud.

When refurbishing her flat in the centre of Edinburgh, first and foremost Sally Homan sought to create a comfortable and practical home, while also reproducing the sense of glamour and chic that characterises her work. To achieve this, the Scottish designer redistributed the various rooms to take maximum advantage of the extensive available space, converting part of the living room into a new, modern bathroom and joining the old bathroom with part of the kitchen to create a new bedroom.

For bathrooms that reflect the exclusive and elegant character found throughout her home, the designer chose Mármol Carrara by Porcelanosa as the ceramic covering, a collection that recreates the finish of this natural material and yet has all the advantages of ceramic.

Gentle tones in earth and grey colours are repeated throughout the flat to create a sense of unity between the rooms, where the white walls help to increase the light and scale of the space. Its style combines oriental influences with a French touch, achieving warm atmospheres with great class and reflecting the passion for travel of its owners.
