Architect Rosa Cobo Serrano chooses collections by Porcelanosa for this function room

The Alcázar de San Juan venue has refurbished its facilities with extra natural and resistant materials.

With a spacious terrace combining nature-inspired materials and minimalist décor, Mabel Salones in Alcázar de San Juan (Ciudad Real) is a design-led wedding and celebration venue.

Designed by the architect Rosa Cobo Serrano and featuring PORCELANOSA Group collections, the space is made up of six function rooms, a tasting restaurant, café and several gardens, and some of its facilities have been refurbished to adapt to new health and safety requirements.

The garden of delights

Salones Mabel gives a warm welcome to visitors with a garden brimming with trees and fountains, and porcelain floor tiles - Riven Cream by Urbatek that blend in with the foliage. At the same time, this combination emphasises the simplicity of the chill out area. Filled with white armchairs and low wooden tables, the area is given a more natural feel with Noa Tanzania Wine ceramic wood by Porcelanosa, used to give shape to the geometric mural that frames the furniture on the same line.

The colour palette of whites, greens and browns is accented by stunning columns constructed with Liem Black Polished by XTONE, with a surface that reproduces the natural shine of Marquina marble yet with the strength of the most sophisticated ceramics.

To further enhance the concept of exclusivity and celebration, the cocktail bar area has been decorated with Gravity Aluminium Arrow mosaic tiles by L'Antic Colonial. Its gleaming gold and rosé tones dress the walls, with the metallic contrasts adding a sophisticated edge. All the models were installed using Butech high-strength adhesives and Colorstuk and Epotech grouting materials, resistant to humidity and high temperatures.

A stately function room with a modern feel

With a stately aesthetic combining neoclassical chairs with linen tablecloths, the main function room stands out for its neutral colours and the warmth of the Metropolitan Nature Caliza floor tiles. These tiles mimic the texture of limestone but with the added resistance of ceramics, making the space extra safe.
