PORCELANOSA Group Projects: El Coso, a garden opposite the Mediterranean

The PORCELANOSA Group's Premium collections adorn the interiors and exteriors of this venue for celebrations and events.

Located just a few metres from the Mediterranean Sea, and enjoying more than 300 days of sunshine a year, the El Coso restaurant has become one of the most popular celebrations and events venues in the area. Recently refurbished, this premises in Burriana (Castellón) has opted for the collections of PORCELANOSA Group to reflect an exclusive and sophisticated character through its interior and exterior installations.

With beige and brown as the most prominent colours in Mediterranean-style houses, El Coso boasts an outdoor space in which the swimming pool becomes the guest of honour. Inside, we find spacious rooms with nature-inspired floor tiles that serve to unify the hallways and bathrooms.

Spaciousness and luminosity between rooms

The high ceilings and large windows in the Del Cedro and Del Olivo rooms help create an intimate and warm atmosphere, while allowing guests to enjoy the surrounding landscaped gardens.

To enhance the spaciousness and luminosity of these rooms, the Porcelanosa stone-inspired collections have been chosen for the flooring. In the Del Cedro space, the Dayton Sand 80 cm x 80 cm collection has been installed, a material inspired by Piacentina stone and that extends to the porch and bathrooms. In the Del Olivo room, a distinguished space has been achieved thanks to the essence of ceramic marble.

A swimming pool as the guest of honour

Among the different areas that make up the El Coso restaurant, the swimming pool is one of the main protagonists. Characterised by a turquoise hue that invites you to dive in, surrounded by the Arizona Caliza 43.3 x 65.9 cm from Porcelanosa with its anti-slip surface, guaranteeing the safety of guests.

Its gentle beige colour enhances the green shades of the vegetation and the blue of the swimming pool, creating a visually harmonious space, able to withstand spilled cocktails and endless hours of dancing.

Breathing spaces

The decoration in this celebrations and events venue is clearly inspired by nature. This is reflected in the wooden beams both inside and outside, and the large-format Dayton Sand 80 cm x 80 cm floor tiles from Porcelanosa.

The bathrooms of the El Coso restaurant are presented as rooms in which you can experience peace and quiet.

These include Krion™ washbasins in white to highlight the metallic textures of the Ruggine Aluminio wall tiles from Porcelanosa. For a distinctive feature we have the Old Newport Natural 33.3 cm x 100 cm wall tiles, also from Porcelanosa, with a strong relief that transmits the sensation of movement and depth. Kiron LUX Snow White 1100 has been used on the countertops, turning these spaces into highly hygienic areas due to its anti-bacterial composition that prevents the proliferation of fungi and bacteria.

The design of the bathrooms is complemented by the elegant lines of the Hotels taps and the sustainable Urban C toilet, both from Noken.
