PORCELANOSA GROUP PROJECTS: An eclectic penthouse in the centre of Moscow

This modern property has been designed by the Decora Design architecture studio and blends Eastern Europe style with premium materials made by Porcelanosa Group.

Measuring 150 square metres and featuring a fusion of styles ranging from Nordic minimalism to industrial style, this Moscow penthouse illustrates how Russia is modernising, combining its recent past with the avant-garde art of the twentieth century. This constantly changing world has been recreated by the Decora Design architecture studio in each of the rooms.

A dream house

Winner of First Prize in the Красивые квартиры (Dream Houses) competition in 2019, this property uses some of the Premium collections by Porcelanosa Group. They were chosen by interior designer Tatiana Gedike, who has used the natural light that pours in through the large picture windows to highlight the authentic features of each room.

The open-plan living room with a pop-art touch features Habana Dark Classico by L’Antic Colonial in a black and white interior design with Scandinavian style white furniture.

Next to it is the kitchen/dining room, in the centre of which is an Emotions E4.90 kitchen by Gamadecor with a slate and matte pergamon finish. The kitchen unit is combined with the Mode stool and Porcelanosa’s Rodano Acero mosaic, a discreet nod to the city outside.

In the main bathroom, Gravity Aluminium Cubic Gold mosaic by L’Antic Colonial has been used to create a studied contrast with Porcelanosa’s Rodano Caliza flooring.

Newport Park Beige tiles by Venis have been chosen for the second bathroom. The pieces form soft waves reminiscent of the movement of sand in the desert, setting off the geometrical lines of the washbasin, mirror and bathtub.
