This five star resort is made up of 1,042 rooms, seven swimming pools and ten restaurants to enjoy the best views of Playa Bavaro on the beachfront, and it includes the PORCELANOSA Group Premium collections.
Like a virgin island, the Lopesan Costa Bavaro Resort, Spa & Casino is located on the idyllic Playa Bavaro (Punta Cana, Dominican Republic), and it offers all kinds of exclusive customer services and amenities.
This five-star resort and 20,000 m2 of surface area includes 1,042 luxury rooms and suites, six freshwater swimming pools, ten restaurants, five bars, two beach clubs, one casino, one spa, and its lush gardens (110,000 square metres) frame each of the areas, transforming every corner into a unique oasis to suit each guest.
Designed by the American HKS Architects, this hotel is brimming with the wild vegetation and boasting turquoise-blue waters, and combines architectural structures typical for the Caribbean andan eclectic interior design. This fusion of styles is made possible using the PORCELANOSA Group's Premium collection throughout the following areas: Unique, Adults Only and Resort. Here the Caribbean perfectly coexists with Western cultures with the Caribbean Sea as the unifying factor.
With blue, orange, white and brown as the main colours, this dining room features a mixture of smooth and rigid textures. The blue wicker chairs are framed by circular lamps and 'pop' style orange fans. Elements that in turn take on a more vibrant tone with the decorative mosaic in the glazed finish from L'Antic Colonial that forms the bar.
In this way, traditional Caribbean cuisine is modernised with certain signature touches, and this is also seen in the decoration of the El Asador restaurant, where the more majestic interior design is especially notable thanks to the ceramic parquet Oxford Cognac from PAR-KER™ (Porcelanosa). This collection imitates the shine, natural grains and contrasts of natural wood while boasting all the technical properties of ceramic (increased resistance to high footfall, impacts and chemicals).
The bathrooms in the common areas boast the wall tiles from the collectionDubai Bronze, from Porcelanosa and the floor tiles collectionBhutan, from L'AC.
Each and every room and suite in the Lopesan Costa Bavaro hotel faces the Caribbean Sea. Light textiles such as linen and cotton found on the bedding and rugs are in perfect harmony with the blue lacquered furniture, lamps made from rattan and the collection Madagascar Beige, the general floor tiles for the rooms and terraces. This sense of infinite feeling of space is reinforced by the porcelain tiles Morse Beige Nature by Urbatek, that pave the main swimming pool.
To ensure high quality finishes, the floor and wall tiles have been installed using the joining and adhesive materials from Butech, recommended for installing the porcelain tiles from PORCELANOSA Group.
The bathrooms offer views of Playa Bavaro with a connection with nature easily achieved by means of the geometric bathroom fittings NK Concept from Noken and the bathtub Lounge, also from the firm. Designed by the architect Simone Micheli, this piece stands out for its pure and refined lines and it adapts to the physical needs of each user.
With a minimalist aesthetic based on white and wood, the luminosity of these spaces is increased with the wall tile Ona White by Porcelanosa and it offers a continuous design that extends to the main infinity pool and blends into the sea.
