After her academic education at the Texas Tech University and the prestigious Parsons School of Designin New York, she spent twelve years working in the latter city where she received and carried out orders for the hotel industry. This experience led her to create her own firm (RD Jones & Associates) in 1996. A studio formed by 44 talented staff to which, nowadays, she dedicates her maximum effort and expertise through its two offices, one in Washington DC and one in Baltimore. Rebecca Jones also operates a seperate procurement firm, Becwood Purchasing Inc. that procures most of the FF& E for their projects.

Passion and love for her work are her greatest assets for achieving excellence in each of her projects. Premium projects, mainly focused on buildings and refurbishments related to the hotel industry and multifamily residences, which offer comprehensive experience for both users and residents with contract spaces designed to get the most out of them.
Rebecca affirms that the aim pursued by her firm is: "to create value for each project, to adopt the customer's needs, to subscribe to budget constraints and build long-term working relationships". As founder and owner, she establishes the direction and style, in terms of design, of each of her projects, as well as maintaining direct communication with her clients.
Her designs stand out because of their captivating touch, originated by the visual impact of each space. Atmospheres where their functionality and viability prevail, as well as taking care of the small details.
Her style is characterized by creating distinguished, open and welcoming elements. For this, she incorporates design pieces and maintains the essence and nobility of natural materials. In this way, it gives them a special role in the final result.
Registrations are open for the 11th Awards
The registration deadline for the event and for submitting the designs, in both the Finished Projects and the Future Projects, ends on March 23. An event that aims to promote creative activity in this field, as well as releasing new talent.
