In the heart of the borough of Queens, just 20 minutes from Manhattan and JFK airport, stands an exclusive 27-storey residential building with over 200 luxury flats. The building’s privileged location offers spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline and exceptional natural light.
With an approach based on minimal design for maximum impact, the main objective of the project was to maximise the entry and reflection of light. In this way, a space has been created that fuses visual unity, sophistication and functionality.
The key to the design of Pinnacle Condominium was to take advantage of natural light and transform it into a central architectural element. To achieve this, materials were selected that optimise the reflection and distribution of light, such as Moon White Nature (). This model has been used on floors and walls, providing a homogeneous surface, which also evokes purity and calm.
In addition, two models of Krion®, known for its warmth to the touch, easy maintenance, resistance, almost zero porosity and bacteriostatic properties, were incorporated. The combination of these materials made it possible to create a fluid space, where white becomes the absolute protagonist. Thus, this colour acts in the spaces as a canvas that amplifies the luminosity and visually connects the different rooms.
Thanks to the uniformity and purity of white, the Pinnacle Condominium flats become havens of calm and comfort, where natural light enhances every detail.
The Manhattan skyline, visible from the interiors, is integrated as a backdrop that complements the interior elegance. In this way, the project manages to balance the vibrant energy of the city with a private space that invites relaxation. In this way, a unique living experience is created for the residents.
In the living room, surfaces provide an impeccable aesthetic and a sense of spaciousness. To add a touch of visual contrast, Krion® Lux 6902 Light Grey was used on the TV wall area. This subtly breaks the predominant monochrome. The flooring, also Moon White Nature, reinforces the visual continuity, creating a welcoming, modern and practical space.
The kitchen was designed to blend in perfectly with the rest of the interior design. The worktop and the vertical bars that delimit the space are made of Recycled Content Krion® K-Life 1100. At the same time, Krion® Lux 6902 Light Grey, in the form of vertical strips, has been used for the backsplash. Moon White Nature flooring ensures aesthetic cohesion with the rest of the house.
In the same line, in the courtesy toilet, a minimalist and pure aesthetic has been applied. The two Krion® models have been used, and a wall-hung washbasin and a vanity unit, both in Krion, have been installed. The rectangular backlit mirror with rounded corners adds the finishing touch to the room.
