Noken’s ‘Oxo’ collection triumphs at the IF Design Award 2020

The jury highlighted the innovative and futurist focus of the premium taps in the Bathroom Products category, with 7,300 nominations presented from 56 different countries.

The collection, from bathroom firm PORCELANOSA Group, is characterised by an aerodynamic, cutting-edge design accentuated by the metallic finish.

The Oxo taps from Noken (PORCELANOSA Group) were one of the major winners of the IF Design Award 2020. The international awards, which have been giving recognition to design excellence for more than 65 years, highlighted the innovative and original character of the collection within the Bathroom Products category.

Cutting-edge and sustainable taps

The international jury, made up of 78 independent design experts, shone the spotlight on Oxo from amongst the remaining 7,300 nominations for its “high design value” and “avant-garde character” thanks to the aerodynamic lines and futurist aesthetic of the metallic finishes.

“We’re very proud of this award because it recognises the culmination of work we’ve been immersed in for years. We’ve been on the pursuit for excellence with a distinctive, intuitive, and environmentally-conscious collection. Oxo represents the type of design that seeks to improve the lives of users, giving them new, more sustainable, healthier attitudes towards the natural environment” say Noken.

Designed as a sculptural piece that promotes sustainability, Oxo encourages responsible water use through its flow restrictors. They make it possible to limit water consumption to a maximum of 5 litres/minute, and also incorporate the cold-on system (WaterForest programme).

The taps are available in three finishes: chrome, brushed titanium, and matt black, and are part of the Signature Collection range. The series is made up of worktops, bathroom furniture, shelves, and worktops with integrated sinks.
