Porcelanosa Group will be at the very first Obra Blanca Expo in Mexico from October 15-17. An event which brings specialised professionals together who deal with the final design phase and construction work: the finishes.
The exhibition is organised by Tradex, with support from the Tile Council of North America (TCNA), and it will be held at Expo Santa Fe in Mexico City. PORCELANOSA Group has more than 400m2 where it will showcase its solutions which are geared towards architecture and interior design.
The space
Set up in number 410, the stand recreates everyday house habitats, such as the kitchen, the living room and bathrooms. As well as that, some specific areas have been added for some of the other companies from the Group.
In the hall, furniture made with XTone from Urbatek leads the way. Behind it, from right to left, seven bathroom habitats can be seen. Those spaces are home to furniture, baths, taps and every possible type of equipment for those rooms; they all come with a high level of design and the very latest in technology. All of this finishes off a space which has been exclusively reserved for Noken Porcelanosa Bathrooms.
The kitchen showcased eye-catching furniture designed by Gamadecor and used the Ceppo Stone terrazzo from Porcelanosa.
KRIONTM Solid Surface also banks on a space of its own in which the versatility and functionality of its surfaces are shown. Alongside KRIONTM Solid Surface, we have Butech, which brings the very latest in building systems. L´Antic Colonial showcases its floor tiles and wall tiles in wood, marble and natural stone; as well as its most well-known mosaics. You can also see Urbatek exhibiting its very latest XTone finishes. The large formats, with their minimal thickness, emphasise the space of the room.
The tour comes to an end in the cafeteria where the large bar manufactured with the KRIONTM Solid Surface mineral compact is joined with the Bottega Acero floor tile from Porcelanosa. It is a finish which combines stone and cement in greyish tones.
Expo Obra Blanca is an excellent meeting place for getting to know and seeing the latest constructive finishes up close, where the latest trends and the condition in which the sector finds itself can be discovered. As well as the stands from leading companies, there are informative talks by leading architects such as Rafael Moneo (Pritzker Prize 1996) and Benedetta Tagliabue (Pritzker Prize Jury Member).
