PORCELANOSA Group opens its famous flagship in Manhattan to the general public, and furthermore, it does so through the launch of a new APP, which is compatible with Google Cardboard (virtual reality glasses in which the smartphone is incorporated) standard. This allows you to enter the building through a virtual visit focusing on different indicators.
The user can also take part in an amazing virtual tour with motion control through the use of a smartphone or tablet device without using glasses with the same application, or through the hosted virtual tour in the web. Similarly, you can feel the New Yorker PORCELANOSA Group experience and discover the latest developments of its eight firms in showroom interactive format.
This is like moving through the network to the heart of Manhattan. This new virtual tour allows you to penetrate the walls of the old Commodore Criterion building. An emblematic and historic place representing today both the global hub of architecture and interior design. And, through a complete telematics tour through the different heights of the showroom, it is possible to get to know the latest in floor tiles and wall tiles, natural materials, kitchen and bathroom equipment or building systems, the cutting-edge product innovations made of KRION® compact mineral.
The 202 in the Fifth Avenue virtual tour has been set out in an entirely realistic way. You can gain access in the real entrance to the building, directly entering on the ground floor of the showroom. There we can find several bathroom environments full of sophistication, as well as various kitchen equipment projects, including the elegant Emotions series from Gamadecor. The first floor leads to the reception, from which one is able to get direct access to the rest areas and the café, located on the second floor. From there, it is possible to be seduced by the beautiful views of the cosmopolitan and urban Fifth Avenue, while having a pleasant and relaxing time.
The bathroom equipment firms such as Noken, Gamadecor or Systempool are still the main attractions on the third floor, as well as on the fourth floor, where it is also possible to notice a small sample of wall tiles distributed in different atmospheres. After a jump up to the fifth floor where the offices are, the virtual tour reaches the sixth, where one can discover the Architect Lab. There, you can see a vast amount of books about wood, natural stone or laminate flooring, among other products.
The virtual tour concludes on the seventh floor, a place where a comprehensive exhibition of bathroom design innovations is shown: from the most modern taps to shower columns, sanitaryware or accessories. This floor hosts events, conferences and showrooms, taking advantage of the spacious terrace and its spectacular views of the unique Flatiron Building.
