After years of presence in the south of France, PORCELANOSA Group opens a new showroom in the city of Toulouse, in order to strengthen the process of the company’s expansion in the region. These new facilities additionally consist of the Group’s fifth logistics centre in the country, with an area of 7,000 square metres and capacity for storage of over 5,100 pallets.
With an area of 1,500 square metres dedicated to the display and sale of the products of the eight firms which make up PORCELANOSA Group, the new showroom is located in one of the main commercial areas of the south of Toulouse, located on Route d’Espagne.
In addition to the large areas dedicated to the display of the innovative materials for bathroom fittings and products for kitchens, which show the focus on design and quality of the products of PORCELANOSA Group, the new facilities also have three exclusive atmospheres, designed by some of the most prestigious local architecture studios of the moment, such as Cardete&Huet, IAM and Taillandier Architectes Associés.
‘Le Boudoir’ is the atmosphere designed by Cardete&Huet – also responsible for the design of one of L’Antic Colonial’s new Designer’s Spaces. This has a minimalist and fluid design where, through contemporary materials such as porcelain tiles, Linkfloor vinyl flooring and the Krion® solid surface, an intimate and comfortable atmosphere is created.
The ‘Playme’ space by IAM presents a play of contrasts between two distinct personalities: on one had the metallic appearance of the XLight ceramic laminate, and on the other the purity and geometry of the Krion® solid surface.
Finally, the atmosphere designed by Taillandier appeals to abstraction, creating a neutral setting covered with technical porcelain by Urbatek. This gives prominence to the Krion® central wall, which generates a play of light and shadows thanks to the possibility of backlighting the material.
To celebrate the opening of the new PORCELANOSA showroom in Toulouse, an inauguration party was held, gathering notable French architecture and interior design professionals, among other personalities.
