Moroccan style houses with the PORCELANOSA Group collections

Wrought iron Arabian lamps, oriental carpets, mosaics with geometric patterns and Moroccan textiles can turn your home into a Nasrid palace.

The Arabian décor so characteristic of the streets, temples and neighbourhoods of Egypt or Marrakech has conquered homes in the West, becoming the season’s new “must”. Arabian carpets, oriental wrought iron lamps, ceramic mosaics, low wooden tables, printed textiles, mirrors with corn-row effect frames and furniture carved in fine wood are among the features we propose in the following article, combined with the products of the PORCELANOSA Group.

Living rooms with Arabian décor

To bring an Arabian touch to the living room of your house, use ceramic mosaics such as the Nazarí and Sadasi collections by L’Antic Colonial. These two series recreate traditional Moroccan pottery, playing with volumes and bright colours ranging from red to mustard or pink.

These walls can be combined with leather pouffes, raffia chairs and upholstered sofas with geometric prints. For lighting, choose Arabian wrought iron lanterns or copper mounted globes to achieve a more intimate atmosphere.

Decorating the living room with oriental carpets, silver tables, iron mirrors and leather pouffes can give your home that exotic touch and they combine perfectly with walls with typical Arabian ashlars and arches.

Arabian-style bathrooms

To decorate your bathroom in the Arabian style, we recommend the use of neutral colours such as white, beige or green to create a light, spacious effect. You will find these colours in the Málaga series in the White & Colors collection by Porcelanosa and they can be combined elegantly with Noken’s Lignage taps or with marble sinks.

For floors, choose stone-inspired tiles such as the Urban Caliza collection by Venis or Onyx Jade by Urbatek, which recreates the contrasts and brilliance of natural onyx.

Plants, aromatic candles, golden mirrors, wooden furniture and carpets with floral patterns will make this room a real riad.
