A minimalist house with Feng Shui accents

The house - designed by architecture studio Meeec - features white as the dominant colour and a minimalist décor scheme centred on straight lines and natural textures. It ushers in the natural light and offers a new take on the traditional Mediterranean courtyard, with its Feng Shui aesthetic suitably loaded with natural stones and vegetation. To achieve this balanced look, the architects decided to combine wooden structures with infinite stone surfaces. This can be seen in the kitchen, where the Emotions E3.70 model stretches out to the living room with an infinite worktop in Ars Beige Nature (XTONE).

The white symmetrical kitchen features subtle black accents (lighting, chairs and taps), and also includes a small oriental garden that provides the room with oxygen and a sense of calm. “La casa busca la privacidad e intimidad con una serie de patios que permiten establecer un filtro entre exterior e interior”, matizan desde Meeec Arquitectos.

A cantilevered staircase leads to the upper floor where the main bedrooms and bathrooms are located (featuring warm Ars Beige Nature floor tiles by XTONE). The staircase is made in Alpi Verde by XTONE, echoing the most sophisticated of marble, and in turn contrasts with the white and green Calacatta Green marble-look walls (XTONE). “Es un espacio abierto y flexible donde el control de los agentes climáticos y la preocupación por la intimidad son los actores principales de este proyecto”, concluyen los arquitectos.
