The KRIONTM Solid Surface by PORCELANOSA Group has become one of the most sought-after materials in the commercial sector. Its versatile design and durability against the weather, were some of the qualities that were highlighted during the 33rd Salone Franchising in Milan. From October 25-27, 200 stands from the franchised world presented their main innovations for all those professionals that make up this group.
Many of the new solutions presented here were about the future and its challenges. The KRIONTM mineral compact was presented at stand B04 of the fair, and it was established as one of the most innovative options for the creation and positioning of a business. Its infinite shapes and textures, its resistance and inalterability and its safety against contact with food, make this product an ideal solution for the different franchises. This involves the use of KRIONTM as an indoor and outdoor wall tile, or as a material for producing furniture and work surfaces.
A wide range of architectural possibilities
To show all the possibilities offered by KRIONTM, 3 thematic areas were designed: A & D zone, K-Life zone and the creative zone.
The A & D zone brought the technical part for architects and designers together. In it, creative inspiration was invoked with the acrylic stone or branding that takes shape through inlays of colour. As well as that, sublimation and backlighting through sandblasting. In this space, a graphic panel was included in which different projects from the retail sector and public spaces were exhibited, which were prepared with KRIONTM.
In the second space, special emphasis was placed on the new properties of K·life through audio-visual resources. They reflected the ability of the material to purify the air, as well as eliminating bacteria and chemical compounds.
The creative zone was designed as an atelier of direct contact with the material and with the architectural options designed so far. A wide range of building possibilities for all profiles.
