This advanced medical clinic in Germany has been transformed with KRION®

The use of KRION® K-Life 1100 has improved the design and safety of this medical centre thanks to its bacteriostatic character and easy maintenance.

Built in the early 20th century in accordance with the functionalism movement, this 2,000 m2 building in Düsseldorf (Germany) has been transformed into an advanced medical clinic thanks to the use of the compact mineral KRION® K-Life 1100 (PORCELANOSA Group). The material was chosen by the architecture studio Slapa Oberholz Pszczulny and the interior designers at Work Phase.

"Treatment rooms with more light": Reinforcing qualities

This new generation Solid Surface has become a real ally to the healthcare sector due to its high technical performance and mineral composition. This quality strengthens the safety and hygiene of each treatment room due to its almost zero porosity, easy maintenance, durability and high shock resistance. Furthermore, KRION® allows you to design germ-free surfaces without noticeable joins, as demonstrated by the infinite counter, the surfaces or the washbasins used in this clinic, which are framed by the Basic and Unique collections from KRION®.

Starting with a base of white, the addition of KRION® K-Life 1100 enhances the luminosity of each room and creates welcoming and healthy environments so that patients feel truly cared for throughout each process.
