The combination of Mediterranean style and Nordic décor injects this home in the centre of Gandía (Valencia) with light and style, with white as the dominant colour.
The renovation is the work of interior designer Vicente Puig. The open-plan apartment spanning 110 square metres features natural collections by PORCELANOSA Group, and combines handcrafted and ultra-modern furnishings to create a connection between the past and present.
A warm and functional open-plan kitchen
The open-plan kitchen/living room plays a central role, exuding comfort and harmony. It features Gamadecor's E4.70 Emotions model, an island kitchen design with LED lights to illuminate the dual-purpose central worktop: used either for cooking, or as a table. The three ultra-modern white stools frame it beautifully, providing separation between the kitchen and main dining area.
The bright and spacious kitchen features integrated Nk taps and appliances, giving it an infinite look that serves as a reference point throughout the property.
The interior design scheme centres on white and oak wood by L'Antic Colonial (flooring throughout the property), extending the unified design to the master bedroom. This room follows the same aesthetic of soft tones and organic fabrics (with cotton and linen bedding). Again, the light plays a central role, and the built-in white wardrobes running the length of the wall and minimalist décor further reinforce the sense of space.
This simple design spills through to the bathroom (one of three in the house), to the side of the bedroom door. Here, the Carrara marble-inspired scheme lends the room an ordered, uniform aesthetic. XTONE® surfaces have been used for the floors and walls, and also shape the built-in furnishings, installed using Super-Flex S2 adhesive by Butech). Meanwhile, the white lights used to backlight the mirror, and circular Forma washbasin by Noken (with matching taps) all serve to enhance the sense of space.
