A home featuring organic forms and minimalist design

Property developer Grupo Roldán opted for stone and natural wood-inspired collections by PORCELANOSA in this Almenara (Castellón) home.

The design of this minimalist detached home is centred on uniform blocks. Built by holding company Grupo Roldán in Almenara (Castellón), the rationalist architectural style building is dominated by neutral colours, symmetrical blocks and clean lines. Spanning 500 m2, it combines Nordic and Mediterranean décor styles. The two interior styles are united under the same aesthetic with natural collections by PORCELANOSA Group, used for the main façade.

The expressive power of white

The architects at Grupo Roldán used Concrete Beige porcelain in conjunction with Butech’s exterior wall fixing systems to achieve perfectly aligned façade volumes, which in turn accentuate the geometric structure of the building. The infinite feel of the design is further enhanced by the large format ceramic floor tiles by Porcelanosa, resulting in a seamless transition between the indoor and outdoor spaces, with a minimalist décor scheme and predominance of white. The Japanese style pendant lighting and infinite natural wood furnishings follow the same colour scheme as the Stuc Ice Natura XTONE® floor tiles. The mineral compact collection takes inspiration from sandstone, drawing on the texture and softness of the stone and featuring a white finish which ushers natural light into the space.

Bright, marble-inspired bathrooms

The principles of balance and harmony reign supreme in this house, with its white micro-cement clad cantilevered staircase framed by glazed panels leading on to the first floor. The main bathrooms, all in white, perfectly demonstrate these two values. In one, the Aria White Nature collection by XTONE® has been used to clad the walls and also gives shape to the furnishings, achieving a clean, uninterrupted look. In the second bathroom, the Bután Bone ceramic tile collection has been used alongside its matching accent tile, complemented by Tanzania Taupe ceramic wood by PAR-KER® and Lounge taps by Noken. It’s a distinctly different aesthetic to another bathroom, where Liem Black Nature XTONE® is been paired with Ice Tanzania Nut floor tiles.

In another of the main bathrooms, they opted for a warmer interior design scheme with orange lighting that elevates the look of the Noken taps and Inter shower screen by KRION®. A truly intimate atmosphere, made for wellness, featuring PAR-KER® ceramic wood.
