Featuring finishes by PORCELANOSA Group, studio Ascoz Arquitectura shows its commitment to assertive modern architecture in Vivienda 321; a three-storey, 635-square metre development that evokes the sensations you would expect from a stay at a high-end hotel.
Set on a hilltop in the Valencian region of Ribera Alta, the house combines exotic vegetation with a dreamy swimming pool and an exclusive style that blends diverse design concepts: contemporary, warm, homely, eclectic and timeless materials. The interior design scheme is the work of Zdenka Lara, and represents a harmonious blend of different styles: Mediterranean and contemporary, with hints of ethnic, colonial style; resulting in an incredibly exotic ambience.
Its structure is based on concrete ribbons that surround the building, creating an interplay between light and shadow, with interior and exterior spaces with plants that produce a disruptive visual sensation. The terrace features the Harlem Acero non-slip model by Porcelanosa. Inside the house, PAR-KER® Manhattan Colonial wood-look flooring adorns all the rooms: the bedrooms, living room, dining room and kitchen.
Gaps are punctuated with plants, also used in the open-air zones. This blurs the limits between the interior and exterior spaces, achieving a fluid and coordinated image. Trees are physically integrated into the construction, increasing the sense of unity with nature. Similarly, the blacks and greens of the exterior flow into every interior zone, enhancing the feeling of being completely submerged in the jungle.
"The family wanted to feel as cocooned and content in their own home as they would in their dream hotel. We worked closely with them, taking care of every little detail and striving to meet their expectations. Vivienda 321 has enabled them to start a new chapter in their lives", explains Damián Ascoz, architect and founder of Ascoz Arquitectura.
The textures and colours of the Capri (Porcelanosa) tiles, installed in one of the bathrooms, add a sense of calm. The use of Lounge taps in copper by Noken, and the 3-way washbasins in a copper finish by Krion, give the room a touch of distinction and personality.
The details reveal the elegance of the home, like the exquisitely designed kitchen (Gamadecor), which blends into the living room, the bamboo covering the roof of the terrace or the Linkfloor Roll Contract Gravel (L'Antic Colonial) vinyl flooring covering the basement level, containing the wine cellar, garage and gym.
