Andrea Bocelli, William Levy, Antonio Banderas, and Alejandra and Richard Gere headline the 2022 Starlite Gala

The Spanish multinational took part in this gala for charity and presented its award to the Italian artist for his involvement in humanitarian projects.

The 13th edition of the Porcelanosa Starlite Gala 2022, held yesterday at the Marbella Auditorium (La Cantera de Nagüeles), brought together numerous personalities who joined in the celebration of solidarity, presided over by Sandra García-Sanjuán and Antonio Banderas.

In its commitment to social causes, Porcelanosa has joined this year’s gala as the main sponsor, adding its support to the ‘Starlite Foundation’ and ‘Lágrimas y Favores’, to which the profits of the charity event will be allocated.

The Italian tenor received the award that the Spanish multinational presented to him for the charitable actions he carries out through the Andrea Bocelli Foundation and his collaboration with various institutions.

“We at Porcelanosa are proud to present Andrea Bocelli with this well-deserved award for his tireless efforts to develop initiatives, through which he reflects exquisite sensitivity and social concern,” the ceramic company said.

Alejandra Gere, William Levy, Ana Obregón, Carla Pereyra, Chucho Valdés, Ainhoa Arteta, Diego Boneta and Roland Joffé were the other honourees at the Porcelanosa Starlite Gala 2022, which recognised the philanthropic work done by these celebrities.

Sandra García-Sanjuán and Antonio Banderas, as hosts of the evening, were accompanied by personalities from the social and cultural sphere: Richard Gere, Victoria Federica de Marichalar y Borbón, Reyes Maroto, Hernaldo Zúñiga, Gunilla Von Bismarck, Lourdes Montes, Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada, Fiona Ferrer and Carmen Lomana, among others.

The top model Valeria Mazza, actor Iván Sánchez and presenter Luján Argüelles conducted the gala, which featured the traditional charity auction, which raised over half a million euros, one of the highest figures in the history of the ceremony.

Attendees bid on a suit of lights worn by Andrés Roca Rey and artistic works by Pedro Sandoval, Ylan Anoufa and Elisabeth Ollé, among other items. There was also room for a silent auction in which the audience bid on unique experiences and exclusive products. After dinner, guests enjoyed musical performances by Andrea Bocelli, Chucho Valdés, Diego Torres, Diego Boneta, Hernaldo Zúñiga, Juan Peña and Fran Rivera.
