Sustainability gains traction at Euroshop 2020 with collections from PORCELANOSA Group

Starwood ceramic wood, Krion™ Solid Surface, natural marble collections, and the sintered mineral compact Ars from XTONE reveal the multinational’s innovative design approach.

Until 20th February, visitors to the fair will have the opportunity to see the latest trends in the retail and contractor sector through the firm’s latest ranges.

PORCELANOSA Group will be showcasing its newest collections for the retail and contract sector at Euroshop in Düsseldorf (Germany) with sustainability at its core.

With nearly 2,300 exhibitors from more than 60 countries, the fair is considered one of the most important in international trade, and it is expected that 114,000 visitors will attend from all over the world.

Divided into eight stages (Retail Technology, Retail Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Food Service Equipment, Lighting, Refrigeration & Energy Management, Expo & Event), PORCELANOSA Group’s various brands will be showing their latest collections in Hall 12, Stand 12C19, with natural textures based on wood or stone taking centre stage.

Fitwall™, soluciones decorativas rápidas y sostenibles

In the 215 m2 exhibition space visitors will be able to see – and test out for themselves – applications of the Bottega collection from Porcelanosa, a series inspired by the colours and chromatic turns of cement, with the stand being paved in the collection’s White and Acero (Steel) tones. The pieces are combined with Durango Acero, a covering that enhances luminosity and balances the collection with softer colours.

The fair will also be host to the Eco-Conscious programme, an initiative from Porcelanosa which unites its eight firms’ most sustainable products. An example of this is Fitwall™ from Krion, the new large format decorative panel made from minerals, resins, and natural pigments. It can be used to quickly and easily decorate commercial premises, with realistic finishes reproducing the reliefs and textures of wood, concrete, and fired clay.

Another particularly innovative material from the firm is Coverlux,™ a mineral compound that can be used to create highly resilient designs similar to stone.

Krion™ turns ten

Euroshop 2020 coincides with the tenth anniversary of Krion™, a versatile solid surface that can be used in the manufacture of furniture, equipment, and work spaces which will be shown at the fair on booths, podiums, tables, displays, and furniture.

The Crema Grecia collection from L’Antic Colonial will also be displayed at the PORCELANOSA Group stand. This natural marble features white veins that illuminate and transform rooms into artistic havens with their cream colour scheme. These are attributes it shares with the sintered mineral compact XTONE (Urbatek), with the collection Ars Beige Nature making a return to a more classic marble with softer intertwined veins.

Nature also finds its way into ceramics. In this case with Minnesota Ash by Starwood, a ceramic wood product from Porcelanosa Group that gives shape to the dining room, where grey ash blends with the purest blacks and whites. The Starwood Ecologic line is another recent Starwood addition, made from over 95% recycled materials.

Unique and sustainable spaces with PORCELANOSA Group.
