This new material from Krion is ideal for designing high-quality, sustainable and durable sanitaryware thanks to its recycled plastic composition.
The Krion brand from the PORCELANOSA Group presents Krion Shell®, a new material for creating products that are more sustainable and whose design adapts to any project.
This Engineered Mineral Composite is composed of two parts. The first is a mineral-based structural body (dolomite) joined with Eco Resin. This material contains recycled PET and an external mineral layer (alumina trihydrate and resin), which gives it greater durability and strength.
Composed of 5% plastic waste, Krion Shell® can be used to design shower trays, washbasins and bathroom countertops. Available in five colours (white, taupe, anthracite, grey, beige), three textures (Rock, Concreto, Silk) and two finishes (matte and glossy), the pieces add strength and safety to spaces thanks to their non-slip properties.
Safe design
The shower trays from the Flow, Line and Slope series feature an intense white colour, and their design can be tailored to the user’s specifications. The versatility of each of their models allows users to create bathrooms that are more spacious and illuminated.
The same applies to One countertops, whose One Custom model adapts seamlessly to any space. The collection also features Round washbasins or square/rectangular washbasins. This concept is also present in all versions of Element washbasins: fitted on top or semi-embedded and in glossy and matte finishes.
Krion® Shell reinforces the PORCELANOSA Group’s commitment to innovation and the environment, making design another part of a healthy lifestyle.
