White, grey and beige have become the greatest ally of today’s interior design, because of their versatility and lightness.
Neutral colours such as white, beige, ivory, brown, grey and black blend perfectly into minimalist or Scandinavian style interiors and their choice influences home design and the layout of each room.
The main advantage of neutral tones is that they can be combined with other, more vivid colours and allow natural materials and textures to be combined with others which have been processed. For example, pottery can be combined with wood, linen with stone or metal with wickerwork.
Neutral colours make spaces lighter and contribute to the image of cleanliness and hygiene in bathrooms, kitchens and terraces.
Before selecting the colour palette that you will use in your home, we recommend you to design a mood board with the different colour combinations that you want to apply, according to the interior design you choose.
To design a neutral lounge, you can combine light silky textiles, such as velvet or satin, with colours such as grey or white. Natural stone floors or STON-KER ceramic stone from Porcelanosa and Venis can be the perfect complement to this mix & match process.
