Chic Boutique Hotel & Spa: minimalist, futuristic architecture

The four-star hotel stands out for its striking geometric façade and sensational sea views

The hotel - located in Albania - features a façade reminiscent of a vast origami creation; the work of studio Stile Progetti Associates and renowned architect Besiana Seraj. The façade is clad in KRION®. The solid surface lends lightness, efficiency, resistance and durability to the design.

The building envelope of the Chic Boutique Hotel & Spa stands out for its large windows, sharp edges and the sense of movement provided by the modules oriented towards different directions. The configuration of the elements gives the project a stunning sense of dynamism and character. At the same time, it helps to create comfortable spaces that adapt to the surrounding conditions.

The windows and balconies feature the same frames, giving a uniform look to the whole and incorporating it into the landscape. Light floods in from the Albanian Riviera, and the views over the Adriatic Sea are magnificent.

The materials chosen for the Chic Boutique Hotel & Spa bathrooms enhance the luminosity of the spaces. The delicate grey veins of the Marmol Blanco Carrara (Porcelanosa) ceramic floor and wall tiles add a touch of elegance. Meanwhile, other bathrooms with a more rustic feel feature Newport Natural.

The bathrooms also come with KRION® K·Life 1100 washbasin countertops, paired with Arquitect wall-hung toilets with the Noken Rimless system. These pieces give the rooms a wonderfully clean and hygienic look. Noken fittings complete the scheme, including the shower and washbasin taps.

Airslate Graphite (L'Antic Colonial) features in the corridors, adding an extra dose of sophistication to the setting with its dark hues and whitish accents.

The Prada Caliza stone-look ceramic model has been installed as flooring in the wellness and spa area. The design brings visual continuity to the setting, making it feel even more spacious. The walls of the hydromassage cabins are clad in Mombasa Prada Caliza, which were installed using fixing materials by Butech. The texture and relief of the ceramic tiles add further character to the room, not to mention designer credentials.
