With the aim of saving up to 89% of water, the new collections from the company enhance energy efficiency and the responsible use of natural resources.
The Oxo and Liem series stand out because of their metallic finishes; their intuitive use and the Wellness experiences which are created in the shower.
By complying with the guidelines set by the European Commission to curb climate change, and with the “protection of water and maritime resources” and the “recycling and waste reduction” as the main objectives; Noken showcased new sustainable collections linked to its WaterForest program at Cersaie 2019.
One of the latest innovations is none other than the Oxo collection. We are dealing with a Premium collection which belongs to the Signature Collection consisting of countertops, auxiliary furniture, shelves and built-in basin countertops. The furniture in this collection has been covered with the XTONE sintered material in two finishes: Glem Nature and Bottega Acero.
This material is highly resistant to both chemicals and scratches, as well as being waterproof. The low porosity of Oxo and its resistance to chemicals mean that dirt cannot find its way into the surface, therefore providing easy cleaning.
Its ECO taps enhance both water and energy savings. The basin is provided with an adjustable aerator with which the water outlet can be adjusted. Furthermore, this model which limits water consumption by up to 5L per min, has the cold-opening system and it is available in three finishes: chrome, polished titanium and black matt.
The thermostatic column has been designed with the Touch&Feel system. It is through this that people can choose the water flow and the outlet with just a simple touch. The shower column taps have a stop at 38º and they always stay cold, which prevents any possible burns. This mechanism reacts when cold water gets cut off, since the hot water would stop completely.
This collection banks on energy savings, since it keeps water temperature constant, therefore preventing waste whenever pressure changes occur.
Touch&Feel: An accessible and digital wellness experience
The new shower system banks on the 4.0 technology, through which people will be able to change the different functions with just a simple button or several of them can be combined at the same time. In this way, the rain mode can be programmed at the same time as cascade, therefore the shower becomes a Wellness experience. It is available in two versions: mixer and thermostatic and Project Line and Smartbox. This product has undergone several pressure and resistance tests up to 50 bars, as well as resistance tests for push buttons in over 800.000 cycles.
Vintage-styled bathrooms with ‘Liem’
The Liem collection consists of bathroom furniture, countertop and basin moulding. With a width of 120cm, the bathroom furniture is available in two versions: wall hung and floor standing; with the grey matt and earth matt finishes.
Its countertop is made of XTONE Liem Grey Silk for the Grey Matt version, and of Ars Beige Nature for the furniture in Earth Matt.
The collection is completed with the oval-shaped mirror made of natural walnut veneer and the 7mm thin-edge basin, whose curved edges are available in the white gloss and white matt finishes.
WaterForest commitment: save up to 89% water
The products that Noken has developed over the last year have led to an advance as far as sustainability is concerned. Its WaterForest line allows for up to 89% water to be saved, and as well as that, it reduces C02 emissions and promotes the attainment of international certificates for eco-sustainable buildings (LEED and BREEAM).
From ECO dual flush systems for toilets, which allow a flush of water applied to each need, to taps and shower heads which limit water consumption; as well as LED technology for mirrors and light fixtures which use 80% less energy and produce a greater amount of light.
Moving towards a green and sustainable future.
