Today Cersaie 2014 begins in Bologna where, for another year, the eight firms of PORCELANOSA Group will be presenting all their new products, setting the trends which will be seen during coming months in the creations of renowned architects and interior designers.
Among the new products that Porcelanosa will be displaying at this edition of Cersaie, notable products will be the ceramic flooring and coverings inspired by the hydraulic tiles from the start of the 20th century, made with cutting-edge technology. Original figures and pigments from traditional workshops will cover the floors and walls on which naturally inspired geometric motifs can be seen.
Dover Antique and Barcelona are the two new collections which best convey the vintage style that Porcelanosa uses to create mosaics, tapestries and compositions as captivating as the period which inspires them.
Dover Antique, a vintage inspired ceramic mosaic
Brilliance and boldness are present in the combination of designs of the new Dover Antique model of ceramic flooring and coverings. A fanciful and apparently incoherent layout broadens creative possibilities when it is installed.
Among other options, tapestries can be formed, framed with pieces of the base version of the Dover collection, available in different colours: Steel, Sand, Limestone and Mole. The collection is offered both in a monoporosa version for coverings (in pieces of 31.6x90cm), and in porcelain tiles for use as a flooring (in 59.6×59.6 and 80x80cm formats).
Geometric designs come to life in the modern Barcelona collection
Lovers of designs from the start of the 20th century are going to have a difficult choice between the four designs which Porcelanosa is launching with the Barcelona collection at Cersaie 2014. The geometric sequences create ingenious floral designs, circular games and outlines of stars which are seen on floors and walls in a relaxed pattern which is pleasingly reproduced.
The pieces of the Barcelona porcelain tile are offered in a single 59.6×59.6cm format with which to create hydraulic inspired floors or form “carpets” using pieces of the ceramic parquet from the Par-ker® collections to bring more warmth to the space.
