Carmen Baselga, interior designer at Taller de Proyectos, has designed the new window display of PORCELANOSA Group’s central showroom, located in Valencia’s calle Colón (Spain). The Valencian designer, as if working on a real space, has created a contemporary bathroom designed for a couple.
The eight firms of the Group are present in this exhibition space, visible from three different perspectives through their products and materials. Even though the layout of the elements allows the display to be observed easily from the outside, it also awakens the curiosity of the visitor, encouraging them to enter and continue to discover the universe of possibilities which the PORCELANOSA Group offers.
Aiming to give the space energy, the interior designer has distinguished two areas in the window display, and thereby attributed a greater importance to the different elements. Playing with the duality of the “twins” concept, Baselga has arranged two areas with formal similarities differentiated by the materials used. Firstly, next to the display cabinet, we find the area dedicated to relaxation with the bathtub; while the shower section, associated with the more regenerative concept of water, is set aside in a more intimate level.
Carmen Baselga visited the central facilities of the company in Vila-real to see first-hand the products and materials of its eight firms. To create this elegant bathroom space, the designer has used the Artisan natural parquet floor by L’Antic Colonial, exquisitely combined with the XLight extra-fine large format ceramic by Urbatek and the Marmi China Line and Samoa ceramic collections by Porcelanosa. The lattice and different elements of the shower area have been made from Krion® solid surface, which the bathtub from Systempool’s Almond collection is also made of. The washbasins and columns from Noken’s Mood collection complete the attractive composition conceived by Carmen Baselga.
