The 8th Architecture and Interior Design Awards wished to highlight Agence Architecture Lanctuit ‘s work in Le Domaine de la Foret project, located in the south of Paris, in Meudon city, where the never ending PORCELANOSA Group building systems are embodied in the design of the façade.
We are dealing with one of the most interesting residential projects in current years in France, where one can find a ventilated façade system covered with Krion® Solid Surface, and also where technologies by Butech are noticeable throughout the area of 2.700 square metres. To be precise, Porcelanosa Krion® Lux system has been installed, certified by Avis Technique 2/14-1624 and endorsed by the firm’s wide experience in façades of this type.
The finishing of the façades represents the two main features of this commune in Siena: calm and scientific activity. Thus, the different buildings completing this project are defined by a finish combining metal sheets and orange coloured vitrified panels with jointless Solid Surface, a possibility of Krion® mineral compact, which turns each application of the material into a unique result.
On one hand, the orange colour of the vitrifying blends the project into the traditional architecture and its surroundings, dominated by ceramic brick, whereas, the white in the Solid Surface is that which plays with the contrast and it contributes to the space with an avant-garde touch.
Butech technical team has collaborated closely with Agence Architecture Lanctuit so that installation was perfect, by designing every element projected in the façade and supplying the material needed.
Representing Lanctuit Architecture Studio, Pascale Guilbert and Mouna Trimeche received this special mention that Porcelanosa Group dedicated to them during the last Awards ceremony.
