This year’s edition will count on an exceptional jury made up of Abel Matutes, Beatriz Silveira, Manuel Aires Mateus, Carlos Valverde and Kike Sarasola.
The best project for ‘Future Design’ and ‘Best design of the year’ will be awarded with the ‘Special Prize 2019’, which consists of a trip to Paris and a visit to the MAISON&OBJET exhibition fair.
Thought up to enhance young professionals’ creative work, as well as putting their work in the shop window, the PORCELANOSA Grupo Architecture and Interior Design Awards has become a leading event in and out of Spain.
In this 12th edition, which will take place next May 30th at the Zalacaín La Finca establishment, the jury will be made up of some of the leading figures in architecture, interior design and the hotel industry: Abel Matutes, Manuel Aires Mateus, Carlos Valverde, Alejandro Zaera-Polo, Andrés Jaque, Kike Sarasola and Beatriz Silveira; will be those with the task of assessing the projects in the two prize categories: ‘Future Design’ and ‘Best design of the year’.
In the category of ‘Future Design’ , the award will be given to the best solution for the retail sector in two subcategories: professionals and students.
The two prize categories are: Future Design and Best design of the year.
With regard to ‘Best design of the year’ , those being awarded will be the projects which were done between January 2018 and February 2019, as well as those which used materials or pieces from the eight companies which belong to the PORCELANOSA Grupo: Porcelanosa, Venis, Gamadecor, L’Antic Colonial, Butech, Noken Porcelanosa Bathrooms , Urbatek and Krion™.
The registration date and the project deadline is March 31st, 2019.
From these two categories, the best project will be chosen, and consequently the new creators’ work will be recognised with the Special Award 2019. The prize will consist of a trip to Paris to visit both the MAISON&OBJET design exhibition fair and the PORCELANOSA Grupo store in the capital city.
The countdown for the 12th Edition of the Awards is well and truly on.
