The 13th Porcelanosa Awards, eco-sustainable housing in Mexico, the Teatro del Soho CaixaBank, La Finca complex, Méndez Álvaro Campus and efficient façades are some of the highlights.
20 years and 40 issues go a long way. 20 years of hard work, dreams and projects. 40 issues full of reports and interviews that have set the trend and recorded changes in how we see and do things. And all with a common thread: a firm commitment to creative and constructive excellence.
In this special issue, PORCELANOSA's Lifestyle magazine wanted to thank all the professionals who have been a part of this evolution, by bringing Porcelanosa's brands to the general public and showcasing the transformation of a constantly changing society.
The other major theme that takes up the main pages of issue Nº40 is the presentation of the 13th Porcelanosa Awards, an event that took place on 26 May at the Four Seasons Hotel in Madrid. The ceremony focused on talent and sustainable architecture. Rounding out this information is a profile of the Diller Scofidio + Renfro studio, whose partner, Mr Charles Renfro, accepted the 2022 International Architecture Honorary Award on behalf of the entire team.
In the "Projects" section, readers will get detailed information on the most outstanding proposals, carried out using materials from the Group's different brands. For example, the Teatro del Soho CaixaBank (Málaga), where Antonio Banderas has made his dream come true and where Porcelanosa played an important role.
There are also the three spaces being built on the "La Finca" development (LaFinca Gran Café, LaFinca Sky Villas and LaFinca Golf Los Lagos), set in a unique environment; and the Méndez Álvaro Campus in Madrid, which received the Award for the Best Corporate Office Complex, Flexible Offices, Residential and Retail at the last edition of the Porcelanosa Awards.
A new sustainable collection
In the pages of Lifestyle, the PORCELANOSA Group again surprises readers by redefining the design concept with increasingly sustainable and advanced materials. Colours inspired by nature, high-quality finishes and efficient and versatile solutions define the new trends.
These same elements are at the fore in projects located in Washington, Toulouse and Vancouver. Buildings whose managers trusted in the possibilities of PORCELANOSA Group products to decorate their façades with solutions that are not just elegant and unique, but that advocate for energy efficiency and respect for the environment from the viewpoint of innovation and creativity.
