The role is to support the distribution and logistical supply of product by Porcelanosa Ltd through the delivery of optimum customer service solutions to existing and potential customers and promote the Company brand and image.


• To support and liaise closely with the Sales teams (Trade and Independents)

• To enhance good customer relations by ensuring all enquiries are dealt with quickly and efficiently, and that the customer is kept up to date at all stages of the process

• To be the customers first contact with regards to any queries and only passing to a sales representative if necessary

• To process all sales orders / deliveries received by telephone and email ensuring strong attention to detail.

• Process all sample orders / sample board orders

• Work with the Sales Teams to ensure prices and tariffs correspond with the customers order

• Raise “Back Orders” and “Special Orders” for customers, ensuring Back Orders are constantly monitored and the customer is regularly updated on the progression of the order.

• Advising and agreeing delivery dates with the customer.

• Communicating with transport and driver to clarify ETA’S before confirming with the Customer.

• To handle all calls to the Sales Administration department in a timely and professional manner

• Deal with all admin queries from customers (stock checks, product enquiries, pricing enquiries)

• Handling customer queries and problems as they arise including identifying errors caused through picking, ordering or processing and arranging corrective action with the relevant department

• Liaise with the Accounts Department to ensure all customer payments / orders are processed before goods are release.

• Assisting in the smooth and efficient operation of the department by undertaking general office duties including, filing, post and other duties as required

• Ensure good communication with all departments and customers at all times

• Monitor Order banks on a weekly basis to ensure stock is not being reserved unnecessarily and delivery dates are accurate.

• Must have a “can-do” positive attitude, be willing to learn and adapt to changes to ensure the needs of the company are always met
