Developed to meet the needs of the most demanding projects and adapted to the technical characteristics of PORCELANOSA tiles for facades.
It differs from other methods due to its double anchorage system: one is chemical, using a high-performance polyurethane filler, and the other is mechanical using stainless steel staples that ensure the bonding of porcelain stoneware to the metallic structure of the facade.
PORCELANOSA rectified porcelain stoneware plates are reinforced at the back with a fibreglass mesh that prevents fragments from falling in the event of breakage. To use the hidden anchoring technique, they are supplied with side grooves so that they can be attached to the facade structure.
The metallic structure of the ventilated facade is made of AW 6005A aluminium, while the staples and mechanical anchors are AISI 304 stainless steel.
VF Porcelánico
The porcelain stoneware pieces are supplied with side grooves which fit into the staples' fastening clips and are hidden from view.
Technical detailsVF Porcelánico
The porcelain stoneware pieces fit into a stainless steel staple in such a way that the fastening clips remain visible. Depending on the coating model, it is possible to wash the couplings, depending on the RAL the client has chosen.

URBATEK XLIGHT porcelain stoneware plates are characterised by their large size, measuring up to 1200 mm x 2500 mm and 6 mm thick; very low water absorption, less than 0.1%, in accordance with UNE-EN ISO 10545-3; and are reinforced at the back with a fibreglass mesh that prevents fragments from falling in the event of breakage. The pieces used in XLIGHT ventilated facades with hidden anchorage are supplied fixed to a metal substructure that allows them to be fixed on to the building structure.
The metallic structure of the ventilated facade is made of AW 6005A aluminium, while the mechanical anchors are AISI 304 stainless steel.
VF XLIGHT/XTONE
XLIGHT/XTONE porcelain stoneware pieces are supplied with metal pieces with which the anchor staples are fixed to the vertical pillars. These determine a system of slots into which fit the facade fastening clips.

Technical detailsVF XLIGHT/XTONE
XLIGHT/XTONE porcelain stoneware pieces are supplied with the anchorage fixed onto the back by means of expansive screws that fit into a horizontal rail system which is fixed to the facade structure. The system allows adjustment in all three directions and is completely hidden. System only valid for XTONE designs of 9 mm and 12 mm in thickness.
Technical detailsAs it is a product made in a workshop, it features numerous advantages over a traditional facade. This system guarantees high quality construction by creating a standard solution with high technical performance, which is also adapted to the needs of the project. This allows for complete control of the manufacturing and installation process.
As it is a PORCELANOSA product, it comes with ongoing technical support and a quality guarantee.
The modules are formed of hot-galvanised steel frames, two layers of rock wool of different densities, A1 class cemented panel and an exterior finish with XLIGHT or XTONE rectified ceramic plate. The interior is finished with a galvanised steel plate which is fixed to the frame.
It has an EPDM and PVC joint system which creates a cavity between panels, facilitating dilatation, alignment and water tightness, which helps to prevent water from entering. The elements are fixed to the forged elements by means of galvanised steel anchor plates that allow regulation on the three Cartesian axes. There is also the possibility of including windows and extra details inside the boxes.
It is characterised by a dual system of chemical and mechanical anchorage, between solid surface plates and an aluminium structure.
It is compact, homogeneous and luminous; it can be transformed by cutting, gluing, machining or thermo-bending; and its surface polish makes KRION® the ideal element with which to create. This material has been highlighted in contemporary architecture, and is presented in pieces measuring up to 6080 mm x 3680 mm.
KRION® parts are supplied machined for mechanical anchoring to the structure of the facade. Depending on the project, they can be engraved, backlit or combined with signage.
The metallic structure of the ventilated facade is made of AW 6005A aluminium, while the mechanical anchors are AISI 304 stainless steel.
VF KRION
KRION® plates are supplied on site with circular machining, onto which the stainless steel metal casings are fixed which are then screwed on to the facade structure. Once the KRION® piece has been fixed in place, the machining is covered and polished on site, to produce a completely smooth and homogeneous surface leaving no trace of machining.
Technical detailsVF KRION
KRION® plates are supplied with metal staples fixed onto the back by means of expansive screws that fit into a horizontal rail system which is fixed to the facade structure, allowing the adjustment of the tiles in all 3 directions. There is no need for subsequent sanding on site and if the project requires it, KRION® pieces can be positioned in such a way that they can be easily removed; this is an essential requirement for backlit projects or those with built-in lighting systems.
