Wednesday October 10th, 2018 · PORCELANOSA Grupo
The XY residential is banking on kitchens by Gamadecor Porcelanosa Kitchens and the parquet by L’Antic Colonial in each of its 138 apartments.
Cutting-edge spaces which have been intelligently designed for the homes of the future.
Right in the centre of London, between Camden Town and King’s Cross, we have the XY Air apartments. A total of 138 apartments in which the modern kitchen equipment by Gamadecor, and the natural wood by L’Antic Colonial. Both firms belong to the PORCELANOSA Grupo.
Comprehensive and functional kitchens
The Residence 1.60 kitchen has been chosen for this project, which is characterised by a complete integration of electrical domestic appliances. As well as that, its minimalist aesthetic with a White tone makes the natural light in the space stands out. The kitchen countertop has different low consumption led light spots that make the work easier when cooking and they bring a warm touch to the room.
The units that make up the kitchen have hangnail handles, which are unnoticeable to the naked eye. Therefore, they blend in with the rest of the space where you find the living-dining room.
An urban and sustainable lifestyle
The chosen interior design for the apartments contrast with the surroundings in which they are located. One of the most eclectic and alternative places in London. A sober interior design style that encourages relaxation and adaptation to the racket that comes from the surrounding streets. For this, a special version of the Tortona 1L Fiera natural wood parquet by L’Antic Colonial has been installed, with a longer slat which measures over 218cm. There is a multi-layered floor which has been done with highly resistant tough oak wood, which provides elegance and warmth alike.
The XY apartments are a clear example of sustainability and development, thanks to the exquisite selection of materials and accessories which make up the home. As well as the interiors, the spaces that surround the building have received special attention with the placement of plants and trees which promotes a modern and sustainable lifestyle.
