The exterior façade of the resort has been tiled with the AirSlate extra-slim slate from l’Antic Colonial
An oasis of luxury in which to enjoy relaxation right in the heart of Africa
The Rhino Resort Hotel & Spa has been chosen as the Best Hotel Spa in the world three times in a row by the World Luxury Hotel Awards. Its list of services and carefully looked after facilities in very precise details have positioned it at the forefront of the most acclaimed destinations for relaxing in.
This is not the only title which it owns, because it has also been awarded with international prizes, with the latest one making reference to: “the best luxury restaurant in Central and Western Africa”. Furthermore, it prides itself on being the largest spa in West Africa with an area of 490m² of jacuzzis, cascades, tepid water pools and rooms for different treatments which are spread out over two floors. An oasis of relaxation located in the city of Saly in Senegal.
Wall tiles to build paradise
Its facilities have banked on first-quality materials, among them one can find some of the pieces from the PORCELANOSA Grupo. In the exterior, AirSlate stands out, the flexible natural slate laminate by l’Antic Colonial which is found in the Graphite finish in the façade. In the outside pool, called Blue Lagoon, we can find the Delhi Natural Home slate wall tiles which surround the exclusive swimming area with Balinese beds for further enjoyment, where one can enjoy the local weather. This very same material has been the choice for the interior areas of the spa.
As well as that, the resort meeting room has banked on the Xlight extra-slim ceramic from Urbatek, in the 100cmx300cm format and 3.5mm thickness.
Details which make a difference
Every single element in its facilities has been carefully looked after, while keeping a stylish coherence to create that ethnic luxury. For instance, the lamps which decorate the bedrooms are originally taowan vines; plants that when they dry up they become totally rigid. The bed linen and pillow cases in the 41 rooms are made of top-quality Egyptian cotton. Each bedroom includes an original work of art by the Thai artist, Yuttana Yutain. Exotic elements which blend in with the most cutting-edge materials.
The name of the hotel has its logo right at the entrance of the facilities. A huge rhino transferred by the Chiang Mai museum in Thailand, which welcomes the guests and makes an impression on them right from the get-go.
In addition to this luxury atmosphere for enjoyment and relaxation, we can find a wide list of services which make each guest enjoy a unique sensorial experience.
