Thursday December 21st, 2017 · PORCELANOSA Grupo

In the Salamanca district in Madrid, we have the Vincci Soma Hotel. A luxurious space whose interior gives off a sophisticated and relaxing atmosphere, full of services that aim to achieve the perfect accommodation for its guests. In the Hotel Vincci Soma, its guests can enjoy a pleasant massage in its Spa facilities, along with enjoying the cuisine in its SOMA restaurant, which is one of the most contemporary and avant-garde menus in Madrid.

Also, the different accommodation solutions offered, since the client can book twin rooms, superior double rooms, junior suites, apartments, single rooms and even XS rooms.

A complete bathroom refurbishment

In the refurbishment that took place at the Vincci Soma Hotel, PORCELANOSA Grupo products were used in the bathrooms in the rooms. First of all, one of the materials which has the greatest presence is the Krion® compact mineral. An element with a mineral composition that has been included in the Modul basin. Its design suggests minimalism and purity through its lightness and flat format. In addition, we find the Land shower tray, which is complemented by other Systempool elements such as the Neo and Yove shower screens, and the Smart shower column.

As well as that, the revolutionary K-Life Krion® compact mineral has been opted for, by way of wall tiles and countertops, which together form a huge “H” shape. Thus, becoming one of the pioneering projects that includes this technology, which through photocatalysis is able to purify the air and eliminate bacteria and chemicals by simply being in contact with light, either natural or artificial.

For its part, Butech, the building solutions firm, is responsible for providing the placement materials that were used, which include the Venis Ferroker porcelain floor tile (59.6cmx59.6cm) and the wall tiles by Porcelanosa. In the shower, the Oxo Deco rectified ceramics in white have been used, which is an original design that provides texture and volume to the space through dynamic lines and shapes. However, the Ston-Ker Rodano Taupe wall tile is used in the rest of the bathroom. An element which creates an attractive contrast with the white that the shower and the basin area project.
