The Palacio de Ferias y Congresos in Malaga hosted the Salón Inmobiliario del Mediterráneo, SIMed 2017, from November 10 to 12. Professionals from the real estate, construction, architecture and interior design sectors have come together to showcase all their innovations, which makes this an unmissable event for the sector at national level.

The PORCELANOSA Grupo did not want to miss this important event either, and participated with a stand in which designs with the latest developments focused on residential housing from the 8 firms from the group have been included. The space has been divided into four atmospheres: bathroom, kitchen, bedroom and living room, among which there are different products from the brand.

Bathroom solutions

In the bathroom atmosphere, the group makes a commitment to sophistication and sobriety. To do this, it relies on the bathroom equipment by Noken Porcelanosa Bathrooms through the Arquitect Pack in black. A combination of basin, taps, bathroom furniture and mirrors that is characterized by its elegance and versatility.

The delicacy created by the thin basin edges and the beauty of the tap shapes is combined with the functionality of a piece of furniture whose surface has been treated with nanotechnology, allowing it to be repaired quickly by applying heat.

The bathroom set is finished with the fineness of the floor standing Acro Compact toilet by the same firm and complete shower equipment by Systempool, made up with the Smart column, the Neo P shower screen and the Land Stone shower tray in white.

Regarding bathroom floor tiles and wall tiles, Porcelanosa products have been in favour of maintaining the minimalist aesthetics and the sober chromatism that goes from black to white through a wide grey scale. Thus, for the wall tile, the Dakota Silver collections were set in 31.6cmx90cm format and Manhattan Silver in 29.4cmx120cm, both combined with the pro-matt 3 chromed brass profile. For its part, the floor tile is formed entirely by the same Dakota Silver collection in a square proportion format (59.6cmx59.6cm).

Kitchen solutions

In the kitchen design, visual lightness and the maximum luminosity in the atmosphere have been sought after in order to make a more functional and versatile space. With this objective in mind, the Residence kitchen by the firm Gamadecor in the Blanco Snow finish has been chosen and the Emotions lacquered cupboard, also in white by the same firm. A worktop made with the KRION® Solid Surface compact mineral completes the kitchen.

For the kitchen wall tile, one of the innovations showcased in Cersaie by Venis has been fitted, the ceramic pieces from the Croix Graphite collection, in 33.3cmx100cm format. These are complemented with the Butech decorative profiles, specifically the Pro-Part Laton Graphite Matt Line profile. The kitchen floor tile is made up with the Manhattan Fresno collection (29.4cmx120cm), Vienna Fresno (59.6cmx59.6cm) by Porcelanosa and the Pro-Part black aluminum profile.

Bedroom solutions

Regarding the bedroom, this group has opted for an aesthetics based on harmony and visual coherence with a bed headboard covered in ceramic wood from the Starwood Maia collection in Tanzania Almond shade in a 33.3cmx100cm format, extended for the complete wall tile of the atmosphere in a 22cmx150cm format.

Living room solutions

In the living room, we find materials by L’Antic Colonial and Urbatek to complete an interior design that once again looks for maximum distinction. Two large-sized formats from the Aislate Graphite collection by L’Antic Colonial have been installed for the fireplace area. Natural stone pieces that allow for maximum adaptability and flexibility thanks to the possibility of creating curvatures of up to 35cm. The chosen colour has been the darkest shade in a matt finish, along with a strong colour variation in order to give it more personality.

The new XLight Premium designs by Urbatek stand out in the floor tiles and wall tiles, among which the Ars Beige, Nylo Black Polished and Golden White Polished collections are highlighted. Large formats that provide an exclusive and different character to the room, and at the time, increasing the feeling of continuity.

The event

More than 130 companies have attended this real estate event whose opening ceremony took place on November 10 and was chaired by the mayor of Malaga, Mr. Francisco de la Torre, who was accompanied by representatives from the sector.

That day, the PORCELANOSA Grupo carried out the presentation of one of its biggest commitments in innovation, K-Life. A revolutionary product that aims to improve the quality of life for people by purifying the air. There was also an informative talk about the advantages of the Porcelanosa Partners program.

Thus, the participation of PORCELANOSA Grupo at SIMed 2017 has been a success, both for the possibility of publicizing some of the most outstanding products from its 8 firms to the professional public, and to show the group’s interest in establishing itself as a benchmark in quality and innovation.
