L’Antic Colonial and its new bathroom collections: when the design is inspired by the most natural
Wednesday March 9th, 2016 · PORCELANOSA Grupo
It does so in collaboration with the prestigious Yonoh and Lázaro Rosa-Violán design studios, which have used their wide range of natural materials to set up three elegant series: Vintage; Sant Germain and Saint Denis. Fifteen models in total are included in this exceptional bathroom project in three product lines, which show sinks, sets and mirrors.
Vintage: the Yonoh’s tribute to the 20s
Invoking the nostalgia of the past, Yonoh presents Vintage, its classic tribute collection to modern spaces designed based on simplified tubular metal structures at its base. An original and sophisticated marble countertop from L’Antic Colonial rests upon it. This gives a high touch of distinction to the set. It is, however, a series that projects freshness, full of clean elements, but with an inherent tribute to the 20s, which not only concerns a greater value, but also a high degree of authenticity.
Saint Germain and Saint Denis: Lázaro Rosa-Violán opts for marble
Saint Germain and Saint Denis are the two collections from the creative minds of the Lázaro Rosa-Violán studio, in a clear attempt to blend the natural stone, marble in this case, with chrome metal structures. Saint Germain, using a more classic touch, is based on a stunning large basin with smooth edges, which can be combined with either a stone pedestal, or with a fine metal structure. Saint Denis, meanwhile, is a series representing a bigger vintage touch based on a wall mounted basin made of a single piece of marble. On it, the crests that will lead to the incorporation of the unique taps are installed.
Both collections have, in addition, several metal frame mirror projects, which depending on the model, include small pieces of marble.
Minim and Phases, Ramón Esteve expands his collection
Ramón Esteve is another studio that has worked with the PORCELANOSA Grupo firm with the design of five new models in the Minim basin series. These new elements masterfully blend natural wood and stone while keeping the same lines of the original basins.
